  • 2018

    Dr. C. V. Raman University was established in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh as first Skill's University of Nimaad region as fifth University of AISECT Group of Universities.

  • 2017

    Dr. C. V. Raman University was established in Vaishali, Bihar as the fourth university of AISECT Group of University.

  • 2016

    AISECT established its third university. AISECT University (AU) Jharkhand was set up in 2016 in Hazaribag district as the first private university of the district and the first Skills University of Jharkhand

  • 2015

    AISECT is now moving towards online service delivery platform specifically for online education, online services, online training through Aisect Online “aisectonline.com”.

  • 2014

    AISECT established as a leading Education Training and Services network across the country with 20,000 centres across 27 states and 3 Union Territories of India.

  • 2012

    AISECT emerged as prominent Financial Inclusion Network in India with its presence of more than 2000 Banking Kiosks engaged as BF, BC, UID activities with almost all the leading Banks in India like SBI, BoI, PNB, Central Bank etc.

  • 2011

    AISECT entered into partnership with National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) for skilling 1.3 million youth across rural and semi-urban area over next 10 years in 7 identified sectors for promoting employment based sustainable livelihood options for youth.

  • 2010

    AISECT established the Second Private University in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh named as “AISECT University”.

  • 2009

    AISECT became a Project Implementing Agency of Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India for Placement Linked Skill Development of Rural BPL Youth.

  • 2008

    AISECT participated as a leading Service Centre Agency in the execution of Common Service Centre Project (for setting-up Panchayat level IT kiosks) under National e-Governance Plan in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Punjab with Ministry of Communication & IT, Govt. of India and established more than 5000 CSCs at Gram Panchayats of these states.

  • 2006

    AISECT established first Private University of Central India named after a Scientist and Noble Laureate ”Dr. C.V. Raman University” in a remote Scheduled Tribe area – Kargiroad Kota of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. AISECT also gets the NASSCOM I.T. Innovation Award from
    Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam.

  • 2005

    AISECT emerged as a leading IT Training and Services Network in India and received Indian Innovation Award from the then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

  • 2000

    AISECT started establishing formal education institutions, SECT College of Professional Studies was the beginning of this new journey followed by which came SCOPE College of Engineering and SCOPE Public School.

  • 1999

    AISECT evolved its own Multipurpose IT Centre model for the first time to cater rural and semi urban milieu, it was acknowledged and published in IIM-Ahmedabad and World Bank Report the same year.

    This year only, first pilot e-Governance initiative “Suchna- Mitra” was conducted in Kotmi Sonar block of Chhattisgarh .

  • 1997

    Year of breaking milestone, transforming SECT to All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT) for expanding its horizons across India.

  • 1995

    The society established by Santosh, SECT was honored as the Core Group of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India under his able leadership for 10 years. Also the State Resource Centre for Literacy formed with Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

  • 1992

    Makes leading contribution in Indian literacy movement through the Literacy Campaigns in undivided Madhya Pradesh. Uses art forms for promotion of Science and Literacy in rural areas.

  • 1990

    Formed Madhya Pradesh Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti for promotion of Literacy in undivided Madhya Pradesh.

  • 1986

    Publishes his first book on Computers in Hindi titled "कंप्यूटर एक परिचय"

  • 1985

    Established the Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (SECT) under his mentorship and with a vision of taking IT to people specially in rural and semi-urban areas. Publishes his first Poetry collection.

  • 1984

    Prominently contributed in fora like Madhya Pradesh Vigyan Sabha, Post Bhopal Gas Tragedy, joined People’s Science movement.

  • 1983

    Shifts from Delhi to Bhopal as Senior Consultant (Electronics) in M.P. Consultancy Organisation, starts skills training.

  • 1982

    Selected for Indian Civil Services.

  • 1978

    Married to Vinita Choubey.

  • 1977

    While doing his first job in BEL, Ghaziabad, selected in Indian Engineering Services.

    1976

    Joins Jyoti Laboratories Ltd., Baroda and then Bharat Electronics Ltd. Ghaziabad as Junior Research Engineer.

  • 1971

    Selected for Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics & Communication Engineering) at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

  • 1965

    Joins High School at Govt. Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India.

  • 1955

    Shri J.P. Choubey and Smt. Sharda Choubey blessed with a son on 22nd Sept. 1955 in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India.
